New job!

I am excited to announce that I will be joining the department of philosophy at San Jose State University as an Assistant professor this fall. As a French Canadian born and raised in snowy Québec, I very much look forward to discovering life on the West Coast!

New publications

"Political Liberalism and the False Neutrality Objection " is now available online at the Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy.

"Civic Education in the Post-Truth Era: Intellectual Virtues and the Epistemic Threats of Social Media" is now forthcoming in a Routledge volume titled "Shaping Citizens: Philosophical Perspectives on Education" (edited by C. Macload and C. Tappolet).

Finally, "Kantian Constructivism and the Normativity of Practical Identities" is available online at Dialogue, the journal of the Canadian Philosophical Association.

New Funding!

I was just awarded new postdoctoral funding from the Social Sciences and Research Council of Canada and the Fonds québécois de recherche sur la société for my research project "Democracy and Deceit: Rethinking Collective Decision-Making in the Era of Misinformation". I am currently working through the details of determining which universities will be my home institutions for the next two years.
